Carbon Sequestration & Greenhouse Gases

With growing concern over global climate change comes increasing interest in carbon sequestration projects and validating claims related to reducing greenhouse gas emissions of all kinds.  Working with Scientific Certification Systems (SCS) we have conducted validation audits for several projects to determine conformance to the Climate, Community & Biodiversity Alliance (CCBA) Project Development Standards. 

Recent CCBA validation audits have included an avoided grassland conversion project in the Prairie Pothole Region and forest restoration efforts in Louisiana.
